How It's Built
Stripe Integration
KrewNest uses Stripe Connect for payment processing. Your Stripe account is linked directly to your organization in Convex, so payments go straight to you with no middleman.
Two-Stage Payment Flow
Jobs start with a service fee payment (stored in serviceFeePaymentIntentId), then final payment after work is complete (finalPaymentPaymentIntentId). This protects both you and your customers.
Real-Time Payment Tracking
Payment statuses are tracked in the jobs table (serviceFeeStatus and finalPaymentStatus). Stripe webhooks automatically update job status when payments succeed or fail.
Refund & Dispute Management
Built-in refund tracking (refundAmount, refundStatus) and dispute management (disputeStatus, disputeReason) so you can handle issues directly in KrewNest.
